I was trained in classic principles of animation, which I apply to my 2D and 3D work. I mentored under Tom Sito, known for animating Beast from Beauty and the Beast, Roger Rabbit from Who Framed Roger Rabbit, and Aladdin from Aladdin, among many more. I also studied character animation under DreamWorks animators through iAnimate.com. Whether animating characters or objects, principles of animation such as "squash and stretch" will always apply. This same reason is why motion capture goes through a character animation pass. Hiring someone who understands character animation when working on animated elements adds tremendous value to the project. Here are a few examples of specific character animation work that I've done. This list is by no means exhaustive, and I encourage everyone to watch my films to see more thorough demonstrations.
