Storyboards, Style Guides & Animatics
I have storyboarded many types of projects, from personal films to animatics, to in-game animations. Storyboards are important to communicate direction and placement, especially when working with a creative team.
The following are some examples of my work.
JASON & THE ARGONAUTS
This is the opening sequence to "Jason & the Argonauts," which I storyboarded for an animated TV show pitch. Click the images to scroll through the gallery sequence.
In addition to visual storytelling, storyboards are also good for establishing style, moods, and anticipated movement, including visual effects. They are especially useful for UX design because they spotlight assets that need to be produced.

Storyboards are given better context when made into animatics (timed storyboard videos). This is the best way to work with sound design, voice talent, and music composition. For example, my MFA Thesis film "Ad & Subtract" was created in a series of storyboards, which I used to time my voice actors and to work directly with my composer, Vidjay Beerepoot.
